How is heat provided? Does it heat in the microwave as dry or moist heat? I;m not sure how heat will last all day!

There is not an outside heat source. The technology in the gloves uses your body heat to help keep the hands warm.

These gloves do not currently come in larger size. The large is the currently the biggest size the manufacturer offers.

can you wear the full fingered arthritis gloves under another pair of thin work warehouse gloves used to scan items?

I do not see why you could not wear them other under gloves. The second pair would have to be big enough to go over them and it make get a bit warm but it is doable.

No, they are not currently sold in retail stores. The manufacturer as of now just chose a few retailers to allow to sell the new gloves. We were lucky to be one of them.
