Is this meant only for the shower of for swimming? We just learned our son needs a PICC line and had planned a trip to Hawaii a long time ago. The doctor isn't aware of any PICC cover that is submersible. Is this safe for such purposes? If not, what about the cast cover?

According to the manufacturer, this product is for showering and swimming. Make sure you take it on and off away from the sand. You would not want to get anything under the latex. Make sure it fits properly (so it doesn't leak) before going under water. Have a great trip.
