The Markwort Swivel Vision Goggles are designed to block certain portions of an athlete's vision so that their focus stays on the task at hand. The vision goggles may be used to train players that are involved in baseball, softball, lacrosse, hockey, football, basketball, soccer and golf. A short breakdown of how these goggles may be used in accordance with each sport is as follows:
Baseball & Softball - The goggles cut off the hitters peripheral vision, training the user to keep their eye on the ball. This improves bat to ball contact as well as hand-eye coordination. When used by fielders, the goggles bar the players lower field of vision. This trains the player to keep their eyes on the ball and is intended to prevent players from rushing to the ball.
Lacrosse - Improves shooters hand-eye coordination and trains the eyes to focus on the ball when making shots. When used by goalies, the goggles help to improve focus on the ball for better accuracy and ball tracking.
Hockey - Blocks goalies peripheral vision, promoting full body and head movement to track the ball rather than using eye sight alone. Promotes accuracy and puck attentiveness.
Football - The goggles train football players to keep their heads on a 'swivel'. This means that when the goggles are used repeatedly, players will learn to move their bodies in alignment with their eyes. For quarterbacks, swivel goggles will help them to see the broader scheme of defensive plays. Running backs, receivers, defensive backs and linebackers will be able to better identify, catch and throw the football.
Basketball - Improves hand-eye coordination so that players may improve all forms of ball handling skills like dribbling and passing. Repeated goggle use will also help players focus on the net for improved shooting accuracy.
Soccer - Provides improved ball perception for improved ball handling and more accurate goal shots. When used by goalies, the goggles help to improve focus on the ball for better accuracy and ball tracking.
Golf - Improves focus on the ball for better swing and putt accuracy. The goggles help train Golfer's to stay centered over the ball for improved game play.
